AIDS Candlelight Memorial Vigil – Toronto – Barbara Hall Park

An open community event is held annually at the AIDS Memorial to remember, honour, and celebrate the people who have died of AIDS and to celebrate those who live with the virus. The 2022 AIDS Candlelight Vigil theme is People, Purpose, Passion.

The permanent AIDS Memorial, in Barbara Hall Park behind The 519 Community Centre, is a physical monument for everyone affected by AIDS in the broader Toronto community. Names of those to be honoured are engraved and installed each year in June.
