WHAI’s Love Positive Women & Black History Month Virtual Event

The Ontario Provincial Women and HIV and AIDS Initiative presents a collaborative virtual event in commemoration and celebration of Love Positive Women and Black History Month on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2021 at 1:00 – 2:30pm.

 This event gathers community members in a space of love and caring for women living with HIV. We work from a place of strength, interconnectedness, intersectionality, relationship building, and love for oneself and one’s community.

 Join us as we hear from community members about the history of LPW and how we connect it to the fight against racism, while participating in the tradition of card making to share thoughtful and empowering messages for women living with HIV and other service users. Enjoy good vibes through music, spoken word and get active with us as we “Socacize” (yep, that exercise to sweet Soca music!).
