WHAT CAN WE HELP YOU FIND?

The AIDS Network, ACCKWA and ARCH invites ACB women to an interactive afternoon of self-care activities, as we celebrate Black History Month

Self-care goes deeper than the skin. As women, we often find ourselves in the role of caregivers, caring for our families, our friend, and our communities. However, for us African, Caribbean, and Black women, some things get neglected too often. Let’s put our self-care first. Once we know where our health stands it will be much easier to take care of all the others. Learning to nurture ourselves is the Key to our successes. Self-care is not selfish. Nor is it a waste of time. The world spins deceivingly fast; if we don’t step aside and check in with ourselves every now and again, we might wake up to find we’re standing in a very different place than where we intended. Join us for an interactive session in an environment that we can let our hair down and discuss our physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental health. A free swag bag will given to participants. Zoom link will be send out to all who register.
