Moyo Health Community Services, Laadliyan and Broadening Horizons present a community Paint Party! Join us! (Virtual Event)

Art as community care! Join us as we celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day with a virtual paint party. A Broadening Horizons facilitator will take us step by step through The PowerofONE community conversation and paint activity, which will focus on the power of language, discrimination and healing through art.

No previous experience necessary, just a willingness to have some fun and connect virtually! We also encourage folks to participate with people in their household. So grab your favourite drinks and snacks, and follow along from the comfort of your own home.

The supplies you will need:
– Canvas 16” x 20” or whatever size you prefer
– Acrylic or watercolour paints (Black is required and the rest of the colours are your choice)
– Paintbrushes
– Bowl of water
– Paper towels
– Pallet to mix paints on (optional)
– Fine marker to sign the painting (optional)

Please note: If you are in need of supplies, please indicate upon registration to arrange drop off or pick up of kits required to participate. These kits are FREE!
