Are you seeking to nurture and deepen engagement with your inner sexual self? This workshop provides a dedicated space for black women to gather, learn and share about our sexuality. Let’s come together, in community, and talk about s-e-x!

The workshop will focus on practical tips for accessing greater pleasure, during solo and partner play, with information about orgasm, toys, masturbation and fantasy. We will also pay attention to enhancing sexual communication, a key aspect to improving partner sex. Finding your sexual voice will ultimately promote a greater sense of freedom and creativity in the bedroom.

Let’s be real. Stereotypes and cultural shaming can inhibit our pleasure and take away from our sense of sexual embodiment. Many of us have internalized negative messages about our sexuality that can effect our enjoyment. In this space we will share and co-create useful strategies that combat negative influences and enhance and encourage our sexual joy.

As black women, it is important to affirm our right to pleasure. As the great Audre Lorde once said “Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
