Because She Cares Virtual Launch!

The Because She Cares Project was created to translate and mobilize research findings on African, Caribbean, and Black women’s experiences of working in AIDS service and allied organizations (AASOs).  Initially this was by re-telling women’s stories gathered through research into poetry. In addition to our retellings of participants’ stories through poetry and spoken word theatre, the Because She Cares Collaborative is launching a series of short films to make sure African, Caribbean, and Black women’s HIV work stories are listened to and acted upon. Join in the virtual launch on February 12th from 2-4pm.
