Hamilton Annual Homeless No More Memorial
On behalf of the planning committee of the Women’s Housing Planning Collaborative, please join us at the Annual Homeless No More Memorial: An afternoon to commemorate community members who have died from housing deprivation and homelessness.
WHEN: October 10th, 2024
WHERE: Forecourt City Hall, 71 Main St W, Hamilton
TIME: Peer Grief Space from 3:00-5:30pm and Community Gathering 4:00-5:30pm
The peer grief space welcomes people who have lost loved ones, friends, or other people from homelessness to participate in art making, letter writing, and other commemorative activities and will include a sacred fire.
The Community Gathering is open to all community members who would like to commemorate lives lost to homelessness.
Art, poetry, and other pieces of remembrance can be sent to homelessnomore@sprchamilon.ca to be displayed at the Memorial.
