Recording – WHAI Lunch & Learn: HIV, HPV & Anal Cancer Screening

This Lunch & Learn session aims to build the capacity of staff who support women in their work, by informing them of the importance of a gendered-lens when discussing anal cancer screening, particularly for women living with HIV

Dr. Ann Burchell from Unity Health Toronto will unpack:

1. what is HPV, what is anal cancer and how are they related, including risk factors and epi data
2. current anal cancer screening guidelines
3. how you can support connecting women living with HIV to screening

The goal of this session is for attendees to familiarize themselves with anal cancer screening for women living with HIV to be better equipped to provide this linkage to both testing and subsequent care.
