AIDS Memorial Story-Gathering Programs – TORONTO

The 519 are happy to invite you to our Fall Workshops and Story-Gathering Sessions as part of the AIDS Memorial Storytelling Project.

In our first fall session, we’ll be making sheets of seed paper that will be part of the storytelling booths, which will feature the stories shared in honor of those remembered. We’ll also have private rooms available for anyone who wishes to share and record their story for inclusion in the AIDS Memorial installation.

We’ll be hosting three sessions this fall (5:30-8:00pm):

• October 15 – Seed Paper Making
• October 28 – Flower Making
• November 11 – Story-Gathering Session

The AIDS Memorial Storytelling Project honors, shares, and archives the stories of community members memorialized in the AIDS Memorial at Barbara Hall Park, Toronto.
