WHAI Lunch & Learn: HIV, HPV and anal cancer screening for women

This Lunch & Learn session aims to build the capacity of staff who support women* in their work, by informing them of the importance of anal cancer screening.

Dr. Ann Burchell from Unity Health Toronto will unpack:

1. what is HPV, what is anal cancer and how are they related, including risk factors and epi data
2. current anal cancer screening guidelines
3. and how you can support connecting women* to screening.

The goal of this session is for attendees to familiarize themselves with anal cancer to be better equipped to provide this linkage to both testing and subsequent care.
