This May, our free public legal education workshops will be held virtually (via Teams): Registration is required.
May 7th: HIV and Aging: Legal Considerations When Turning 65
May 14th: Refugee Claims and Bill C-12: What’s Changed and What to Know
May 21st: HIV Non-Disclosure and the Law: An Update on Criminal and Public Health Law
May 29th: Human Rights and Privacy Issues for People Living with HIV
The workshops will last one hour, with a 45-minute presentation and 15 minutes for questions. At the outset of the workshop, we will provide information about how to keep your name anonymous from other attendees, in case you would like to do so. Please note that HALCO staff will be able to see the name used to register for the workshop.
