The Perils of “Protection:” Sex Workers’ Experiences of Law Enforcement in Ontario
Over the past decade, the perception of sex workers has evolved in the eyes of policy-makers, law enforcement and the broader public from “criminals” to “victims” — but sex workers continue to be over-policed “for their own protection,” at considerable cost to their rights to work.
