The Facilitator’s Guide to Community Engagement

This community guide offers learnings
from a community-based research
project on the simultaneously messy and
hopeful process of community-engaged
facilitation (CEF). It was written by a team
of community-engaged facilitators
united by a shared commitment to
continual learning and social justice.
Throughout the project, we asked each
other questions about our facilitation
practice and held conversations with
other facilitators in our networks. We
wrote about what we learned from these
conversations in this guide.
