This was heard widely amongst Black and Indigenous women and gender-diverse people, drug using communities, people living with HIV, and those who have experienced violence. Listening, empathy, and authenticity were identified as paramount, as was valuing women and gender-diverse people&#8217;s expertise and leadership to build relevant programs and increase trust.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/whai.ca\/fr\/ressource\/collective-action-community-change-a-report-amplifying-community-voices\/\"  target=\"_self\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEn savoir plus dans notre dernier rapport\n\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/whai.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/whai-community-support-icon.svg\" alt=\"whai-community-support-icon\" itemprop=\"image\" title=\"whai-community-support-icon\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t\t71%\n\t\t\t\t\t71% of women and gender-diverse people interviewed during WHAI&#8217;s community consultations indicated that they have not had (or only somewhat had) support for their social and emotional needs (n=134).<sup>1<\/sup>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/whai.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/whai-community-isolated-icon.svg\" alt=\"whai-community-isolated-icon\" itemprop=\"image\" title=\"whai-community-isolated-icon\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t\t50%\n\t\t\t\t\t49.9% of the cis and Trans women who participated in the OHTN Cohort Study 2022 survey reported feeling isolated from others (n=459).<sup>2<\/sup>\n<h2>\n\t\t\tQue fait l\u2019IFVS?\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Moving forward, WHAI is committed to community development work that aims to foster these valuable spaces and recognizes the importance of community connection to women and gender-diverse people&#8217;s lives and health.
